MEGAN ADAMS
REHEARSAL DIRECTOR

Megan Adams graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance in 1995 and works as a dancer, choreographer, rehearsal director and teacher. Megan has performed in works by Ann Dewey, Sean Curham, Lisa Densem and Lyne Pringle. Her most recent choreographic work was Rose Parade. Megan is a guest tutor at TAPAC and UNITEC and she works in schools as a dance in education tutor for The Royal New Zealand Ballet. Megan was the rehearsal director for Douglas Wright's recent New Zealand and Australian tour of Black Milk. Megan worked as the rehearsal director on Shona McCullagh's film Break and was her Choreographic Assistant on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, King Kong and Auckland Theatre Company's recent production of Sweet Charity.

Earlier this year Megan directed a dance devised theatre work White Lie with the second year actors from Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School, which was made into a short film, and was the choreographer for the children's show Buzzy Bee's Big Day Out which is currently touring New Zealand.
